This year at the ISH in Frankfurt TOTO’s products were literally immersed in a special light. With the theme of water in mind and the help of media technology and warm lighting, an atmosphere was created that brought TOTO’s brand to life. The centerpiece of the 1229 m² exhibition stand were the round shape of the ceiling and floor. The design language was inspired by TOTO’s Tornado Flush, an innovative flushing system that creates a water swirl. The flowing architecture helped directing the visitors through the stand. Angular and round elements provided contrast and creative tension and also served to present examples of different sanitary areas. Wood and stone were used to create a comfortable and harmonious environment.
TOTO is Japan’s leading producer of sanitary ware and is a name that has been synonymous with the advancement of bathroom culture since its creation in 1917. Its technological innovations and high standard of quality have made it an iconic and much-loved brand in Japan. And with European consumers demanding an ever-more luxurious and fulfilling bathroom experience, the time is right for the world’s most sophisticated bathroom products to enter the market, elevating the bathroom from the merely functional to the restorative and meditative. Since its launch in Europe Walbert-Schmitz achieves the exhibition stands for TOTO.
