The Prym Group is made up of three separate divisions. One of these divisions is the Prym Consumer business, which is the world’s leading provider of sewing and needlework accessories today. The success story began in 1903 when Hans Prym invented the press fastener. This drove the long-established company to new heights. The press fastener also proved a breeding-ground for the consumer- oriented Prym Consumer business unit.
The divisions Prym Consumer and Prym Fashion are world market leaders in their respective fields. The third division INOVAN supplies leading car manufacturers as well as customers in the telecommunications and electronics sector. Walbert-Schmitz built Prym’s 234m² stand at the Handicraft + Hobby 2015. The international trade fair was held in Cologne from the 27th to 29th of March 2015. Prym Consumer displayed a variety of products and presented them in a store-like fashion. Exhibited in various boxes, shelves and tables were shoes, bags, clothes, pillows, sewing and knitting accessories among other DIY products. The equipment necessary for such tasks was also made available by Prym. Architecture and scenery were deliberately kept white to offer a good presentation area for the colorful exhibits. The tree in the center of the stand reflects the diversity of the company by use of various craft materials. With their attention to detail, the use of high quality materials and intelligent concepts, Prym makes creative dreams come true.
