The NEOCOM 2015 took place on the 7th and 8th of October at the Areal Böhler in Düsseldorf. It’s one of the largest trade fairs in the eCommerce, shipping, multichannel commerce and retail business industry. This year it has attracted more than 4500 visitors on 11500m².
Walbert-Schmitz built the 100m² stand for presentation of the DPD activities. The focus was on a live digital experience that gave visitors the opportunity to discover solutions, products and delivery options in a playful manner. A demonstration of the services was available in devices such as smartphones, tablets, smart watches, laptops and screens. This helped emphasize that DPD provides all the solutions under one roof as a premium parcel service. Fair visitors had the opportunity to use the online tool “DPD webpackage” to print the transit document and use the mobile parcel label to live track the package in real time.
To convey transparency and innovation the design of the booth was given a clear and minimalist almost purist design. The modern and innovative atmosphere at the booth highlighted the future-oriented technology. A smoothie bar served as icebreaker.
The booth was divided in two areas by the dynamic wall elements that had the shape of the logo. The area at the front was for interactive communication, the area at the back had a lounge bar and offered a private place to have conversations. A 3D logo that was attached to the ceiling served as eye-catcher.
