Bayer Material Sciene operates under the name Covestro since the 1st of September 2015. One of the leading polymer material manufacturers in the world is now economically and legally independent, but still remains a subsidiary of Bayer AG.
Walbert-Schmitz built the 100m² booth where Covestro presented itself with a new logo and corporate colors at Fakuma 2015. The trade fair took place from the 13th to the 17th of October. The new vision of the company “to make the world a brighter place” underlines the innovation and growth of ideas. Covestro’s technologies and products for the automotive, construction, furniture, sports and textile industry as well as for the electronics sector were displayed at the stand. Differently sized ceiling banners brought dynamism and diversity to the booth.
The name Covestro consists of three words each representing a concept that embodies the company’s identity: The first syllable stands for “collaboration” between various partners. “Vest” represents the investment in large and advanced production equipment that is necessary to remain a competitive company. “Stro” stands for remaining strong in the field of innovation as well as in the markets and also with a strong team that supports the company.
