3M is one of the world’s leading multi-technology companies. Walbert-Schmitz designed and realized 3M’s trade fair appearance at K 2016.
The trade fair concept was based on the polygonal structure “Trifecta” from the corporate design, which was transformed into a three-dimensional body. This created an exciting interplay between graphics, space and architecture.
The four product areas are prevalently and clearly placed. The triangular shaped design language not only reflects the “Trifecta” structure, but also allows for an optimal organization of the information, meeting and graphics areas.
The upper floor offers additional space for communication and the exchange of ideas.
To round off the concept, the furniture was selected in accordance to the design language.
