Casio focuses on Japanese culture and impressively features its origins.
“Kumiko” literally means connected wood. This more than 1.400-year-old handicraft is closely linked to the Japanese interior design culture. Those typical lattice structures with their filigree wood connections and their play with light and shadow, run like a golden thread through the stand as a characteristic design element.
There are also contrasts in lots of the used surfaces; smooth meet textured materials, real wood is found in combination with natural stones. They generate a warm room atmosphere and support the quiet, concentrated product presentation.
