Even before the gamescom officially started, the RTX product launch brought together 3000 visitors on a warm Monday evening in Cologne.Visitors were excited about the new generation of graphics cards, which is why NVIDIA created a very special event for its fans during the first launch outside of the U.S.
In his keynote, founder and CEO Jensen Huang heralded the new era of the RTX Real-Time Technology in front of a selected backdrop and via live stream. He speaks of “a historic moment” and gets applause from the audience. They were able to try out hands-on demos of the latest games and enjoy delicious street food before partying afterwards.
For Walbert-Schmitz, the mission began with location scouting, continued with the design of the room concepts for indoor and outdoor, and ended with the organization of the entire time table and the party including hospitality and shuttle service. Realized in a tight time frame and accompanied by wild speculations and leaks on the net.
